Nothing to say really, just look out here he comes…!

We are currently in the midst of summer holidays over here but you would think we are back in NZ with this shit weather that we have had here, honestly its been cold, wet and stomry as hell.  I have taken 2 weeks off work and am just about at the end of my first week and we have been lucky to have my elder sister Lisa here this week to stay. 

Lisa flys out tomorrow and its been great to have here and will be sad to see her go.  We have been around and seen some stuff this week but the last couple of days has been shit weather so we have been stuck inside watching videos, not the ideal way to show my sister round Italy…

Samu is doing great and has loved the extra visitor for the last week.  We have had some mile stones this week that Lisa has been able to see, Samu learning to wave and best one of all was him taking his first steps with out holding onto anything!  It was funny as he has been pushing all sorts of stuff around the house and holding on to the couch and walls, but finally he took his big walk from one couch to the other yesterday morning as confident as his dad… scary really.   He now crawls up to you, reachs up and grabs your finger, stands up and pulls you with him like saying “come on, lets go for a walk!”  super cool, and funny as piss.

Well, firstly it looks like I have got this site thing sorted out and all going well everyone will be able to access this. Some little work to be done but if you cant get to this at www.nz-italy.com then you can try it without the www so just nz-italy.com and it should work.

OK, so update on things.

Where do I start, its been about 3 months that the site had been down and a fair amount has happened, not everything we can reveal right now, but later this will come clear to all.

Most recently Samuele had his first birthday!  its hard to believe that after what seems like so a short time he is now 1 year old, but then we think of the many sleepless nights and the last 12 months feels more like 12 years…  Anyway we had a nice weekend over at Roby’s parents place and had a couple of mates come over with their kids and had some ice-cream and played with toys, all the standard stuff.  For Samu it was just another day, but then again everyday seems like a birthday to him!

Here are some photos from Sunday and as you can see he is a real little man, with 5 teeth in his mouth, him wanting to walk and push everything around the house and most recently he has descovered the super facial expressions, mouth open smiling, its just funny as piss to see him.  He is super cool and super cute (OK, I am his Dad after all)

Finally after months of pulling my hair out and doing some crazy stuff, we have the site working again… well at least I think this is going to work, let me know if anyone can see this!!!
